Our members work closely with St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and with the Catholic Chapel at the Fallon Naval Air Station. The Council’s Grand Knight for 2006-2007 is Dennis Kathrein and the Financial Secretary is Jim Shurtliff. The Council can be reached via EMAIL at kofc4828@kofc4828.org. This account is monitored by the Financial Secretary. Associated with Council 4828, is the Father Sauveur “Sam” Dominique Tambourin Assembly 2739, which is also located in Fallon. The Assembly’s Faithful Navigator for 2003-2004 is Roland Encarnacion and the Faithful Comptroller is Dennis Kathrein. Fallon Council 4828 was founded on June 8^th, 1959 at the historic St. Patrick’s Church in Fallon, Nevada and Assembly 2739 was founded on March 28^th, 2002. The St. Patrick’s Parish, itself, was founded in 1932. Council 4828 and Assembly 2739 work closely with the St. Patrick’s Parish community, as well as the parish community of the Fallon Naval Air Station. We support various parish and community activities, as well as the local Catholic youth group. Meetings Return to Top of Page   • Return to Home Page Regular business meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the 1^st and 3^rd Wednesdays of each month. Officer’s meetings are occasionally held ½-hour before the business meetings on the 1^st Wednesday of the month. Several times per year, a social activity is held in place of the 3^rd Wednesday meetings. Assembly 2739’s meetings are held at 6:30 on the 1^st Wednesday of each month, just ahead of the Council meeting. All meetings are held at Moiola Hall, which is located adjacent to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 850 West 4^th Street in Fallon, NV. See the following map for the location of Moiola Hall. Living Rosary Services Return to Top of Page   • Return to Home Page Each month, Council 4828 sponsors two Living Rosaries Prayer Services for life. The first service is held on the First Saturdays of each month at 9:00 AM, which also corresponds to a similar service that is held at the same time across from the abortion clinic in Reno. Our second Living Rosary service is currently being held on the third Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 PM. When the weather permits, the prayer services are held on the front lawn of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, otherwise, they are moved indoors. In addition, when we have sufficient people, we use a large wooden Rosary, where each individual holds one to four beads and leads the prayers for those beads, as applicable.
